Yo! I'm Spookery, but you can call me Spook. Lover of the old web, kisser of kitties, reader of many books. This is my personal website where I save and share interesting things, share where I'm at on other places on the net, and practice webmastery. My main site actually started out as a side-site, but became my main kind of by accident. In short, most of my content is over there. That being said, Starfrost Spire is a SFW site, whereas this is where I come to be my real self. So who is the real Spook, exactly?

The real Spook is an irl emo/goth/metalhead in Florida who loves to spend time surfing the net, making friends, listening to alternative music, drawing OCs, reading horror novels, petting her cats, drinking lagers...and more, of course, but we can't sit here all day. I also admit to using profanity way more than fucking necessary, but you'll have to forgive me. Sometimes I don't realize how brash I'm being until someone gives me a look.

What else? I work in a library, have two beautiful cats, and commit copious amounts of time theft by coding on the clock. I was born in '95 and have been on the net since I was able to move a mouse! My dad worked in IT at the time and passed down his love of the web and technology to me. I grew up with the old web and find it to be both aesthetically nostalgic and more personal and interesting than social media sites today.

My prized possessions are my gaming PC, my lovingly curated library, my retro consoles, my art supplies, and my plushies. I also stream on Twitch sometimes; I play lots of Monster Hunter and Overwatch with my best friend!
